Privacy and Data Protection:

In force since September 2020, the General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD) regulates the use of personal data, in physical or digital media, imposing several obligations on natural and legal persons, whether public or private, on the way in which personal data should be treated, in addition to imposing sanctions for those who do not guarantee the rights of data subjects.

Our office has experience in adapting companies to the LGPD and other legal and regulatory obligations on the subject, creating documents, training, updating contracts and internal processes, among several other activities in order to assist the company in guaranteeing the privacy of its holders.

We have professionals up to date with good market practices, acting preventively through adaptation projects and specific consultancies, who are also able to adopt the necessary administrative and contentious measures, for example, the defense of interests and adoption of acts before the Authority National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
